Ali MacGraw
Elizabeth Alice MacGraw better known as Ali MacGraw is an award-winning American model, author, designer and activist for animal rights. She has been acclaimed for films like Love Story (from 1970), Goodbye Columbus, (1969) and The Getaway, (1972). Her family was an artistic family in New York and wanted to pursue a career in artistic fields. She began as a photo assistant before moving on to modeling and acting. She was awarded the Golden Globe Award in 1990 as a promising actor. MacGraw's 1970 film Love Story proved a major success and earned her international fame as well as the Academy Award' nomination and a Golden Globe award. After only three movies, MacGraw was named the top female box-office debut worldwide. In 1972, the Grauman's Chinese Theater engraved her autograph as well as foot prints, hand prints, and footprints in the year 1972. She has starred in several different films, such as The Getaway Convoy Players and TV miniseries The Winds of War among other. Her autobiography, published in 1991 Moving Pictures came out. MacGraw has been married three times.
